Our story

When I was beginning my career in 2009, my boss sent me to this shop to break me in and earn my stripes. I was nervous but extremely hungry to finally be tattooing professionally. I worked here at this location for 9 years, met my beautiful wife as a walk-in here, and learned all the skills needed to be a professional Tattooist in these walls. Many years of amazing experiences were had by me in this shop. I left here reluctantly in 2018 to open Sundance Tattoo in Wai’anae to be closer to my new, quickly growing family.

Fast forward 7 years to 2025, my mentor who still owned this shop, called to give me the opportunity to purchase the place. I was shocked, but I knew this was an opportunity not too many people would get. To own the shop you came up in? The place where you met your wife and fell in love? I did not have to think long before saying yes to the offer. Following the purchase, I gutted the place and gave it a full renovation from head to toe. New everything, from walls to electrical, it got completely overhauled, the upgrade she always deserved and needed.
